By using RequestIntel, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the service. These terms apply to the public website, dashboard, API, and related services.
1. Service provider
RequestIntel is a software-as-a-service product operated by R2CLabs. It helps developers and organizations identify bots, crawlers, and spoofed traffic through an API.
2. Accounts and API keys
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping credentials and API keys secure, and controlling activity performed through your account. You are also responsible for ensuring that people you invite to your account are authorized to use the service.
3. Plans, limits, and billing
Plan prices, features, and limits are displayed before purchase. Paid subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled. There is no annual billing option at launch.
Each request inspected through RequestIntel counts as one lookup; each item in a batch counts separately. Monthly allowances are hard limits. When an account reaches its allowance, the API returns 429 monthly_limit_exceeded. There are no automatic overage charges, and all API keys and team members on an account share the same allowance.
4. Paddle subscriptions and cancellation
For transactions processed through Paddle, Paddle.com acts as our online reseller and Merchant of Record. Paddle processes payments, applicable taxes, invoices, plan changes, cancellations, and transaction-related customer service. R2CLabs licenses and provides RequestIntel.
Upgrades are prorated immediately. Downgrades take effect at the next billing period. You may cancel through the Paddle customer portal to prevent future renewals; your paid access continues until the end of the paid period and then your account moves to the Free plan. Cancellation does not automatically create a prorated refund.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use RequestIntel to carry out illegal activity, commit fraud, infringe the rights of others, obtain unauthorized access to systems or data, interfere with the security or operation of the service, or use the service in a way that may harm R2CLabs, its providers, or third parties. We may restrict or suspend access where we reasonably believe there is a breach of these terms, a security risk, or abusive use.
6. Data and intellectual property
You retain the rights you hold in data you submit to RequestIntel. You grant us only the permissions needed to process it in order to provide, maintain, and protect the service as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having the permissions and lawful basis needed to submit any third-party data.
RequestIntel's software, brand, design, code, and interfaces remain the property of R2CLabs and their respective rights holders. While you maintain a valid account, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under your plan and these terms.
7. Availability and changes
We take reasonable steps to keep RequestIntel operational, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or an error-free service. We may modify, improve, replace, or discontinue features when needed to operate or develop the product. Where a change materially affects a purchased service, we will seek to provide reasonable notice where practical.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RequestIntel is provided as-is and as-available. R2CLabs is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, loss of business opportunity, or effects arising from interruptions or third-party services, except where applicable law provides otherwise.
To the extent permitted by law, R2CLabs' total liability relating to RequestIntel will not exceed the amount paid for the service during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing here limits rights or liabilities that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes, law, and contact
We may update these terms when the service, legal requirements, providers, or business practices change. If a change is material, we will seek to give reasonable advance notice. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights that may apply elsewhere. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, disputes are subject to the competent courts of Montevideo, Uruguay.
